Beni-Suef University Faculty of Nursing Signs Cooperation Protocol with Baheya Foundation to Train Internship Students

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the University's Faculty of Nursing signed a joint cooperation protocol with Baheya Hospital, which specializes in the early detection and free treatment of breast cancer. The protocol aims to strengthen academic and practical cooperation, develop the skills of young medical professionals, and enhance their competencies. The protocol was signed under the supervision of Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, in the presence and participation of Dr. Mohamed Emara, Executive Director of Baheya Foundation and Hospitals.
Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the University is keen to build bridges of cooperation with major and distinguished medical institutions such as Baheya Hospital, providing internship students with a valuable opportunity for direct exposure to the practical work environment and enabling them to acquire advanced field experience in delivering comprehensive nursing care to breast cancer patients.
The University President explained that signing this protocol represents an important step toward integrating academic education with high-quality practical training, as well as enhancing the University's community and awareness-raising role in combating breast cancer and meeting the needs of the medical labor market with excellence and efficiency.
Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali added that the training program designated for internship students across the hospital's various departments will help them become familiar with the latest treatment protocols and medical equipment used worldwide. He praised Baheya Foundation's role in supporting the next generation of medical professionals and transferring advanced expertise to them as part of its social and educational responsibility.
For her part, Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan expressed her great pleasure at concluding this protocol, noting that it opens broad horizons for the Faculty's internship students to receive high-level practical training that will help refine their personal and professional skills and fully prepare them to serve the medical community with a high degree of competence.
