The Beni Suef University Council opens its session by extending congratulations on the glorious October victories.

The Beni-Suef University Council, chaired by Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, approved during its session No. (262) the participation of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research in a number of specialized exhibitions and festivals at both the local and international levels. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; the Deans of the Faculties; and members of the Council.

Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the University is keen to highlight the role of its distinguished institutes and specialized research centers in scientific and productive forums and events. He praised the pioneering role of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research in supporting the national economy and applied scientific research.

The University President also explained that the Institute will participate in the “International Flower Exhibition” (Autumn Flowers Edition), held at Al Horreya Garden in Zamalek, during the period from September 21 to October 20, 2026. In addition, the Institute will participate in the “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival” at the Egyptian Museum in Giza on October 31 and November 1, 2026.

He also pointed out that the Institute will take part in the “Beni-Suef Medicinal Plants Festival” on October 10 and 11, 2026. These participations aim to enhance the University’s presence in scientific and applied events and forums, highlight the Institute’s contributions to the development of the medicinal and aromatic plants sector, open new horizons for research and industrial cooperation and partnerships, and support sustainable development efforts and the green economy.
