Minister of Higher Education, President of Beni Suef University and Governor open exploratory well to contribute to implementation of agricultural projects at university
Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, and Chancellor / Hani Abdel Gaber, Governor of Beni Suef, opened the exploratory well to contribute to the implementation of agricultural development projects, in the presence of University Vice-Presidents, House of Representatives deputies, Deans of faculties, faculty members and students.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, said that the university has a head start in this field. He pointed out that the well was drilled at a depth of 130 meters, and pumping experiments and preliminary tests of the well are currently under way, especially the governorate has 8 industrial zones and tens of thousands of acres of agricultural land, which requires cooperation in implementation of the national plan in this area, and providing a research model that can add to the state development plan.
