Beni Suef University President Chairs Several Meetings

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today a number of meetings, including the Board of Directors of the Blended Learning Center, the University Facilities Committee, the Higher Committee of the Software Design and Development Unit, the Higher Education Projects Development Unit, and the Faculty and Leadership Development Center. These meetings were held as part of the university’s periodic follow-up on development plans and efforts to enhance institutional performance.

The meetings were attended by Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Hanan El- Rouby, Director of the Blended Learning Center; Dr. Mohamed Qayed, Director of the Higher Education Projects Development Unit; Dr. Gomaa Said, Director of the Faculty and Leadership Development Center; Dr. Shaaban Mobarez, Financial Advisor; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; and members of the respective boards.

During the Blended Learning Center meeting, achievements from the previous period were reviewed, including the announcement of the February 2026 exam results for the Agriculture and Kindergarten programs. Emphasis was placed on maintaining regular operations in accordance with the approved plan.

At the University Facilities Committee meeting, approval was granted for a memorandum submitted by the University Engineering Administration regarding the formation of a final acceptance committee for the completion project of the University Hospital in East Nile – Oncology Building, as part of the university’s efforts to complete its medical services system.

The Higher Committee of the Software Design and Development Unit approved the timeline and budget for updates to the SIPS system, as well as the implementation of an electronic management system for the Faculty and Leadership Development Center.

During the meeting of the Higher Education Projects Development Unit, the cooperation protocol between the Projects Unit and private universities was reviewed, along with the monthly report of the standing team. The formation of the “Giant” team for the university’s educational platform—named “Bein BSU”—was approved, in addition to approving the “Fire” team for military education. The committee also discussed a proposal to create a dedicated electronic program for the website of the Faculty of Politics and Economics.

At the Faculty members and Leadership Development Center meeting, several topics were discussed, including procedures for accreditation by the Supreme Council of Universities, organizing training courses for graduates and postgraduate students in various fields, and engaging university faculty experts when specialized expertise is required. It was also announced that a “TOT” course for Master’s and PhD students will be organized in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, to be held after the month of Ramadan.
