Beni Suef University Successfully Publishes Its Pioneering Experience in Sustainable Development with the International Publishing House Springer Nature

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the success of the University’s International Ranking and Sustainable Development Office in publishing the university’s experience in promoting a culture of sustainable development across its various sectors, both on and off campus. The publication appears as a dedicated chapter in one of the latest releases by the prestigious global publishing house Springer Nature.
The chapter was prepared by a distinguished group of researchers, including Dr. Loaa Ramadan, Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Fatma Abu El-Ela, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Dr. Mohamed Arafa, Lecturer at the Faculty of Computers and Information; Dr. Taghreed Badr El-Din, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science; Dr. Abeer Enayatallah, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science; Dr. Osama Abdel Hamid, Lecturer at the Faculty of Science; Dr. Ahmed El-Naggar, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Information; and Dr. Sama El-Daq, Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Sciences.
The Acting President explained that the chapter presents a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at transforming the university into a sustainable model to be emulated locally, regionally, and internationally. It also highlights the practical initiatives implemented by the university in the sectors of community service, postgraduate studies and research, as well as education and student affairs.
He added that this publication by Springer Nature reaffirms the university’s commitment to applying international sustainability standards through a comprehensive strategic framework, alongside practical projects and initiatives that achieve balance between education, environment, and society, while adopting environmentally friendly policies across campus.
Dr. Sama El-Daq, Director of the International Ranking and Sustainable Development Office, noted that the university’s efforts to promote and institutionalize a culture of sustainable development align with the state’s orientation toward sustainability in accordance with Egypt Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Higher Education. This further strengthens Beni Suef University’s position as a leading model in supporting the global sustainability agenda.
