"Publishing and Intellectual Property Rights to Researchers in the Digital Age", seminar at Beni Suef University
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni Suef University, the Sector of Graduate Studies and Research organized a seminar entitled "Publishing and Intellectual Property Rights to Researchers in the Digital Age" in the presence of Dr. / Mohamed Hossam Lotfy, Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law at University.
Prof. Dr. / Rector, assured the need to support and encourage publishing in the field of scientific research as one of the pillars of university development to achieve excellence regionally and internationally and setting development controls and mechanisms necessary for intellectual property rights to ensure researchers' rights and the lack of robbery on the creativity of others, pointing to the existence of several laws and international conventions that guarantee the protection of intellectual property rights in the light of the great technological development in recent times.
Prof. Dr. / Tarif Shawky, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, pointed out that intellectual property refers to diverse creations of the mind and there is a protection to this property, including patent, copyright and trademarks, that enable people to gain recognition or financial benefit from their creation or invention.
