The President of Beni Suef University meets with a Rotary Club delegation and students traveling to China

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, met today with a delegation from the Rotary Club of Beni Suef, on the sidelines of the travel of a number of students from the Chinese Language Department, Faculty of Al-Alsun, to the State of China, based on the protocol signed between the university and the Rotary Club, in the presence of Dr. Sherif El-Gayar, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Dr. Heba Muhammad Fawzi, Head of the Chinese Language Department, Ms Fifi Girgis, President of the Rotary Club, Ms Dalia Makram, Secretary of the Club, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Sidqi, former Assistant Governor, Dr. Heba Abdel Azim, former President, and Ms Fatima Al-Zahraa, Treasurer.
Dr. Mansour Hassan said that two students were selected for the Master’s degree in “Chinese Linguistics” and 4 students in the second grade in “Chinese Language.” The third grade students will spend an academic year in China, based on the grant provided by the Egyptian-Chinese Friendship Association, within the framework of cultural exchange between the Arab Republic of Egypt and China.
The President of the University praised the important role played by the Rotary Club of Beni Suef in serving the local community through joint cooperation with the university in organizing medical convoys, holding health awareness seminars in the villages most in need, holding ready-made clothing exhibitions for students who are unable, and giving awareness lectures in the field of Health and the labor market, and other effective activities to serve the people of the governorate.
The members of the Beni Suef Rotary Club thanked the university president for the warm reception and his keen interest in cooperating with the club to provide various services for the benefit of students, workers and the local community, in addition to overcoming any obstacles that would hinder the university’s social role.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, bid farewell to the students, wishing them a safe arrival and that they would be the best ambassadors for the Arab Republic of Egypt and Beni Suef University. He urged them to be diligent , and to be shining and honorable models in all countries of the world.
