President Sisi inaugurates Beni Suef National University via video conference

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, inaugurated Beni Suef National University, via video conference, which was established in accordance with Republican Decree No. 419, with a construction cost amounting to 3.7 billion pounds, and it has become an integral part of university education in Egypt, as it aims to be non-profit. Rather, it is to serve its students across the Republic in accordance with the latest modern systems, in order to ensure their interest and qualify them at the highest level within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, expressed his deep gratitude to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his interest in developing Upper Egypt in various economic, educational and social fields in light of the national strategy pursued by the new republic during the era of President El-Sisi and his rational and wise leadership in managing the country, stressing that Beni Suef Governorate is enjoying an educational boom through the inclusion of a governmental, private, National and technological university and private institutes.
The National University is located on the land of College Complex No. (2) in the new city of Beni Suef, east of the Nile, 125 km away from Cairo. An area of about 40 acres has been allocated for the National University’s colleges, which include buildings, main and secondary roads, some playgrounds for sports activities, cafeterias, and Pergolas for students, parking areas, green spaces, and gardens. It currently includes 19 programs in 12 colleges, including human medicine, oral and dental, physical therapy, pharmacy, engineering, computers and artificial intelligence, science, nursing, arts, commerce, and media. The navigation sciences and space technology program has been added, as the first phase is scheduled to reach the University of Beni Suef to 30 study programs in various specializations.
