Beni Suef University Council agrees to sign a protocol with the National Council for Women

Beni Suef University Council approved the signing of a cooperation protocol between the university and the National Council for Women in its session No. (193), in the presence of the university's vice-presidents, faculty deans and members of the council.
Dr. Mansour said that the protocol will include support for the Unit for Combating Violence against Women to undertake the development and training of workers, students and faculty members on the topics and concepts of forms and mechanisms for combating violence against women, preparing and developing distinguished human cadres in this field, providing scientific, social and legal support, and preparing research, studies and scientific competitions. And technical activities related to the field of protecting women from all forms of violence and developing them in all economic, social and environmental fields, in line with the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The university president confirmed that the protocol will include contributing to equipping the medical response unit to deal with battered women in the university hospital, and providing technical support for training courses to build capacity for health service providers in the field of violence against women.
