Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University announced the launch of the electoral marathon in 18 faculties of the university, while the candidates of 9 faculties decided the seats of the student union by acclamation, and the number of candidates who contested elections in the student union elections reached 160 appeals and 29 appeals were accepted.
The President of the university, the students' participation in various colleges to run in the committees of student unions, stressing that there is an increased awareness of the importance of participation in student unions as a form of training on the exercise of democracy.
The Rector added that the run-off on Monday, November 11 in colleges, and then the elections of the secretaries of committees and their assistants at the college level on Tuesday, November 12, and the next day the elections of the President of the Union and his assistant at the college level.
