Beni Suef University qualifies for the final stage of the “Ibdaa 14” Competition in the field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the qualification of students from the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence to the final stage of the “Ibdaa” Competition (14th Season), which is held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports. The participation is supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Captain Mohamed Farouk Mahmoud, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare. This qualification, in the field of “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence,” reflects the remarkable scientific advancement witnessed by the university in modern technological fields.

In this regard, Dr. Tarek Ali stated that this achievement embodies the university’s strategy of supporting innovation and scientific research among students, emphasizing that Beni Suef University places special importance on empowering youth in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030. He added that the university mobilizes all its capabilities to provide a supportive environment for creativity, congratulating the students on their honorable representation of the university at this important national event.

In a related context, Dr. Hamada Mohamed expressed his pride in the distinguished level demonstrated by the students of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, noting that the Education and Student Affairs Sector spares no effort in supporting scientific student activities that refine students’ skills and prepare them for the global labor market.

For his part, Captain Mohamed Farouk affirmed that this achievement did not come by coincidence, but is rather the result of an integrated strategy adopted by the Central Administration for Scientific Activity to discover exceptional talents and refine them using modern tools. He pointed out that Youth Welfare aims to transform students’ innovative ideas into tangible projects capable of competing in major national and international forums, explaining that the administration serves as a professional link between students’ ambitions and the resources provided by the state to support innovators in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. He also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all staff members of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, especially the team of the Scientific Activity Administration, praising their collective efforts and teamwork in overcoming all obstacles faced by students, which contributed to preparing them in the best possible manner to compete strongly in the “Ibdaa 14” competition.
