Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meeting of the University Council No. (176) held on 30/10/2019. The Council discussed a number of files and priority issues aimed at improving the functioning of the work system and provided services.
At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mansour welcomed the members of the Council and congratulated the Egyptian people and the university on the occasion of the Prophet's birth anniversary and congratulated the university on the progress in the level of international classification.
During the meeting, the Rector reaffirmed the implementation of the minimum wage from the beginning of November in implementation of the economic reform package and an interest in lifting the burden on emloyees.
The council also discussed the addresses of the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education regarding regulations, examining of scientific production, magazines and annual competitions related to scientific and technological cooperation and a number of related topics.
It also discussed the promotions of faculty members at various faculties. During the meeting, the deans of the faculties presented reports on the minutes of the faculties' councils, and the vice presidents presented specialized reports on education, students, graduate studies, research, cultural relations, community service and environmental development.
