Beni Suef University is one of the top 100 universities in Arab region in QS ranking

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University announced the results of the QS classification in the Arab region this year, as the university ranked 91-100 from 101-110 the previous year.
The university progressed to become in the eleventh place at the Egyptian universities level after the universities of Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Mansoura, Assiut, Al-Azhar, Helwan, Suez Canal, Tanta and Zagazig.
The University President explained that the QS classification depends on ten criteria, namely academic reputation 30% and functional reputation 20% -10% on both the proportion of faculty members of students - International Cooperation Network - the proportion of published researches. 5% on both of the citations per researcher - the portal - the proportion of faculty members (holders of PhD) - and 2.5% on the proportion of foreign faculty members and international students.
This comes within the framework of the efforts of the Center of of University Performance Development in improving academic and career reputation, linking researches with industry and the high rate of joint cooperation in international publishing in distinguished journals, which has yielded a positive improvement in the ranking this year.
