For the first time inclusion Beni Suef University in US News classification

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the inclusion of the University for the first time in its history in the classification of US News, among 17 Egyptian universities, Beni Suef University ranked the seventh place locally, and 951 globally among the best universities, which are more than 25 thousand universities.
The classification of US News is based on several criteria, most of which are entirely related to scientific research and international publishing, which are the research reputation globally and regionally (12.5%) each; international publication (10%); international books (2.5%); international conferences (2.5%) Qualitative citation rates (10%); Total number of citations (7.5%); Number of researches in cited journals in Q1a (12.5%); Percentage of research in cited journals in Q1a (10%) International cooperation (5%); Number of researches published in collaboration with international researchers (5%); Number of highest cited researches within the top 1% (5%).
The inclusion of the university in this classification comes as a result of the indicators of the strategic plan of the university and the plan developed to support the upgrade by the University Performance Development Center and the International Classification Office, and to support scientific research and develop its outputs within one of the objectives of the university administration to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030 to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
