Selection of two research projects at the University of Beni Suef from the top five research projects in Egypt

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the selection of two research projects for the Nanofotonic Working Group from the top five transferable research projects as startups in Egypt by Venture Well, the US. .
The President of the University explained that the idea of ??the first project is to reuse the waste of factories, especially cement factories, in order to produce products that have an industrial application to produce paving materials at a low cost that can be applied not only in the field of paving roads but also in other fields. While the idea of ??the second project focused on the use of large quantities of kaolin deposits located in different parts of Egypt, to produce different types of zeolite industrial use.
The president added that the Nanofotonic labs at the Faculty of Science submitted four projects in the fields of water, energy and environment. Two of the four projects got the first and second place among the hundreds of projects submitted at the level of the Republic and were selected to complete the second phase of the project.
It is worth mentioning that the competition is based on the selection of groups of researchers and innovators through specialized scientific committees who have research or innovations of industrial application so that each group consists of several researchers.
 In addition, the selected groups are trained for two continuous months in order to discover the skills and readiness of these groups to apply their innovations in the labor market at the industrial level to serve the needs and requirements of the market.
