President of Beni Suef University: Providing 39 "laptops" for each visually disabled student starting next year
Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the provision of 39 laptops for all students with visual disabilities at the university starting next year. This came during the inauguration of a workshop by the university president entitled " The use of assistive technologies, in the presence of the dean of the Faculty of Media, the coordinator of student activities at the university and a number of faculty members in the college, amidst a remarkable presence of students.
During his speech, the university president emphasized the development of a similar training program to train staff and faculty members to facilitate administrative transactions with disabled students and employees. Dr. Mansoor Hassan asked the organizers of conferences, seminars and workshops at the university to take care of people with disabilities by providing a sign language interpreter for hearing disabilities, describing all the statements made by the lecturer and mentioning more details so that people with visual disabilities can understand the content of the symposium.
