President of Beni Suef University: Formation of a sports team to train children with disabilities
The Board of the University of Beni Suef, No. 166, held on 26 December, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved the formation of a joint sports team from the Faculty of Special Needs and Physical Education College, in cooperation with the Department of Special Education in the Directorate of Education to provide sports training for groups and children with disabilities in the province.
The university president explained that the aim of the team is to invest the energies of the disabled to integrate them into the community activities, especially the sports activity, which contributes to improving the psychological, behavioral and physical aspects of the children, and increases their self-confidence, and draws the attention of the community to take advantage of their abilities, Talents and participation in different social fields.
