Introductory seminar on Chevening scholarships from British Embassy
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, received the Director of Chevening Program at the British Embassy in Cairo and the Director of the Unit of International Cooperation and External Relations of the University to hold an introductory seminar for the faculty members, assistant body and researchers on Chevening scholarships offered by the British Embassy in Cairo. The University President pointed out the need to encourage all members of the University to obtain these grants, especially with the increase in the number of colleges and institutes at the university, followed by an increase in the number of faculty members, assistant body and students.
Ms. Nivin Sharaf, Director of the Chevening Program at the British Embassy in Cairo, praised the role of the University President in obtaining a distinguished ranking in international classifications. This was a major reason for doing their first visit to Beni Suef University.
It is worth mentioning that these scholarships are fully funded to obtain a Master's degree in British universities. There are about 3000 British institutions that offer scholarships in all scientific disciplines. Researchers from 160 countries around the world participate in them for one year only.
