President of Beni Suef University: Cairo 5th International Innovation Exhibition
Dr. Mansoor Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, addressed a letter from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology on inviting members of the university and students to participate in the fifth annual exhibition of the Cairo International Innovation Fair, because the University is characterized by unique specialties and distinguished researchers who are able to participate in the economic and social development and scientific development in Egyptian society.
The President of the University said that this exhibition is an annual market for innovation that brings together innovators, inventors and researchers on the one hand, businessmen, industry, donors, technological incubators, science valleys, investment zones, small and medium industries and banks, on the other hand, aiming to serve and develop the scientific research environment and drive innovation in Egypt. By linking scientific research with innovation and industry, It also opens new horizons for small and medium industries based on innovation, as well as provides an opportunity for innovators and inventors to promote and commercialize the product of their intellectual and research efforts in a professional manner that serves all parties.
He added that the exhibition is expected to be attended by a number of ministers, state officials, investors, businessmen, banks and civil society organizations in addition to nearly 600 exhibitors from Egypt, Malaysia, China, Arab and African countries and more than 5000 visitors interested in science, technology and innovation, and many Arab, African and Asian countries will participate in the exhibition.
It will show many prototypes of outstanding innovations from more than 40 technology transfer and marketing offices, the participation of 14 alliances of technological alliances, more than 50 graduation projects, 60 Innovation from community innovation for individuals and 17 emerging technology companies , More than 20 technical education projects, 15 project models of common workspaces and more than 20 models from the University of the Child. This year, the Future Technologies Wing, which contains Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Financial Objects and Technologies, the wing of the support of the innovation bodies, which includes the funding bodies and Incubators and technological accelerators and joint work spaces, investment funds, and many of the suites in various fields were added.
The Academy will also offer prizes for the promotion of innovative ideas and will be held on 8-9 November 2018 at the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority Auditorium in Nasr City.
