President of Beni Suef University: Workshops on the use of water desalination in agricultural purposes

         The Board of Beni Suef University in its session No. 154, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, agreed to organize workshops during February and March under the supervision of the community service sector and environmental development on the use of desalination in agricultural purposes to serve the civil society and farmers in solving the problem. The high salinity of water and its impact on the productivity of agricultural crops and the consequent economic problems.

        The university president explained that the workshop aims at introducing the concept of desalination and drawing up a vision of interested, researchers and specialists in the field of desalination in developing a vision for the use of low cost desalination systems to raise the productivity of agricultural crops.
