The Board of Beni Suef University adopts the establishment of a National Council for the Affairs of the Elderly

Prof. Amin Lotfy, President of Beni Suef University, approved the approval of the University Council No. (146) on 30 May 2017 to adopt the idea of establishing the Supreme Council for the Elderly subject to Parliament as a supervisory board.

Prof. Amin Lotfy said that the Council has the powers and authorities to enable it to provide varied care for the elderly, whether economic, health, educational, cultural, social, recreational or psychological, and aims to promote and develop the protection of the rights and welfare of the elderly person. , To raise awareness of them and to contribute to ensuring their exercise.
