President of Beni-Suef University : 27th of March, an International Workshop entitled '' One Health to combat infectious diseases ''

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni-Suef University announced that the graduate studies and research sector will organize an international workshop entitled '' One Health to combat epidemic diseases between Beni-Suef University and the American University of Tennessee at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from the 27th of Feb. until the 3rd of March.

The university president said that the aim of the workshop is to put strategy to combat epidemics,transboundary diseases and common diseases transmitted from animals to humans at the local and regional level, and the definition of the seriousness of these diseases on human and animal health and their economic repercussions on Egypt, and giving early warning for the occurrence of these diseases.

He added that the topic of the workshop includes discussing the early detection of cases of disease and infection sources in order to control and prevent their spread, as well as prevent or reduce the incidence of complications.
