This initiative is supervised by Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hindawy Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty; and Dr. Essam Emara, Director of the Beni-Suef Education Directorate. It is being implemented within the framework of activating the joint cooperation protocol between the University and the Governorate's Directorate of Education. The event was attended by Dr. Fadl Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mesaad El-Desouky, Professor of Casework; Mr. Adel Gaber, General Supervisor of Social Education; and Dr. Yasser Gouda, Senior Supervisor at the Beni-Suef Educational Administration.
The University President emphasized that the program primarily aims to link theoretical academic study with practical field application, directly equipping students with the professional experience and skills needed to engage with the realities of educational institutions. He explained that the successful partnership between the Faculty and the Directorate of Education reflects direct coordination between academic and educational institutions in the governorate. In this regard, Prof. Dr. Hindawy Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty, met with Dr. Essam Emara, Director of the Beni-Suef Education Directorate, to discuss final arrangements and ensure that all necessary facilities are provided for the students.
Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali noted that the activities also included the opening of an extensive workshop for the social workers supervising the students participating in the training program. The workshop addressed their supervisory responsibilities and the mechanisms for conducting regular follow-ups with students throughout their placement in schools. The University President added that strengthening coordination and integration with the schools hosting the trainees would ensure the intended academic and practical benefits for both parties and enhance the professional social work practice of young student trainees.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hindawy Abdel-Lahi expressed his deep appreciation for the ongoing fruitful cooperation with the Beni-Suef Education Directorate. He stressed the importance of field training in preparing and qualifying the Faculty's students for the labor market in the most effective way.
