With reference to the reports circulating regarding an assault on a student at Beni-Suef University, the University confirms that it has dealt with the incident with the utmost seriousness and firmness from the outset, and has taken the necessary legal and administrative measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The University Administration has directed that a comprehensive and urgent investigation be launched to establish all the circumstances surrounding the incident and uncover all relevant details. The specialized investigation team immediately commenced its work, including examining all available evidence related to the incident and hearing the statements of all parties involved and witnesses, with the aim of establishing the full facts without prejudging any conclusions.

The University reaffirms its full commitment to upholding the law and protecting the rights of all its students. It also stresses that it will not tolerate any conduct that undermines the University’s values or endangers the safety of its members.

The University urges everyone to exercise accuracy and refrain from circulating unverified information or drawing premature conclusions regarding the incident, out of respect for the ongoing investigation and to ensure that the competent authorities can establish the complete facts.

The results of the investigation and the measures to be taken in this regard will be announced once the examination and investigation procedures have been completed and the findings have been officially approved.
