Dr. Tarek Ali added that the university continues to organize such distinguished scientific and training activities, aiming to present the latest insights and scientific methods to enhance the research capabilities of all its constituents—including faculty members, researchers, and students. He stated that adherence to global standards and rigorous methodologies in drafting research projects is a fundamental pillar for achieving academic and research excellence, elevating the university’s international ranking, and supporting Egypt’s plans to transition toward a sustainable knowledge-based economy grounded in solid, innovative scientific principles.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawi Hassan explained that the seminar addressed four key areas: planning, formulating the research concept, and identifying the "knowledge gap"; structuring the proposal and defining the scientific methodology; establishing the timeline, budget, and risk management plan; and covering research ethics, proper citation rules to avoid plagiarism, and the importance of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals. She expressed her pleasure in organizing the seminar—during which she emphasized the importance of scientific research as a fundamental pillar of development—and commended the university administration's ongoing support for the faculty's scientific and research activities
