Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Earth Sciences organized a eception ceremony for the new students. This event reflected the university's commitment to welcoming students at the start of the new academic year, preparing them for university life, and introducing them to the faculty, its academic programs, and the activities and services it offers. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Essam Abdel-Rahman, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Ahmed Abu Shareb, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Hatem Saad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Soheila Gamal, Faculty Director; and Mr. Shehab Farouk, Director of Youth Welfare.
Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, congratulated new students on the start of the academic year, wishing them a successful year and a university journey marked by excellence and achievement. He emphasized the importance of making the most of the resources and opportunities provided by the university and the faculty throughout their studies. The event was characterized by a welcoming atmosphere and active interaction between new students and faculty members; it also featured introductory segments designed to familiarize students with the nature of their studies, key programs and specializations, and related career paths, thereby helping them form a clear vision for their academic and professional futures.
The meeting also included an introduction to the various student activities offered by the university and the college, and encouraged students to participate in them and take advantage of available opportunities to develop their skills and capabilities alongside their academic studies, thereby contributing to the holistic development of the university student's personality.
