President of Beni Suef University Chairs the Meeting of the Faculty of Agriculture Council

Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the 119th meeting of the Faculty of Agriculture Council, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Ahmed Helal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Dr. Wael Abdel Maguid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The meeting addressed a number of issues related to developing academic and administrative performance and preparations for the new academic year.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President extended his congratulations to faculty members and employees on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, emphasizing the importance of completing all necessary preparations and arrangements to welcome students and providing an appropriate educational environment that ensures the regularity of the educational process from the first day of classes. This contributes to enhancing the quality of education and providing a university environment that supports creativity and excellence.
During the meeting, the Council discussed mechanisms for maximizing the utilization of the 150-feddan area owned by the University and making optimal use of available resources through the operation of various academic and practical departments in cooperation and coordination with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This aims to achieve integration between the faculties and maximize the use of the academic and research capabilities available within the University.
The Council also discussed developing an integrated vision and an urgent plan to develop the project and transform it into a large-scale productive project that serves the educational and research processes, provides practical and training opportunities for students and researchers, contributes to serving the community surrounding the University, and supports sustainable development efforts.
The University President emphasized the importance of expediting the implementation of the proposed plan in accordance with a scientific and economic vision that contributes to maximizing returns from the University’s assets and achieving its educational, research, and community objectives.
