Beni Suef University Council Opens Its Session by Extending Congratulations on the Occasion of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the University Council convened today for its 261st meeting, attended by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; as well as the deans of the faculties and members of the Council.
At the outset of the meeting, the University President extended his congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), praying to Almighty Allah to bless our beloved homeland with continued health, progress, and prosperity on this blessed occasion.
The University President also extended his congratulations to all members of the university community, including deans, faculty members, staff, and students, recalling the noble humanitarian values and lofty message embodied by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), whose blessed memory is associated with spreading peace, love, and tolerance. He emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the honorable Prophetic biography through sincere work and continuous dedication to building a bright future for the nation.
The Council also honored a number of administrative staff members who reached the statutory retirement age during the current month of August.
Furthermore, the Council approved the plan of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector to organize a series of seminars and workshops during the upcoming month of September. The Council emphasized the importance of regular seminars and workshops in strengthening interaction among students, faculty members, and experts from outside the University, as they provide valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and keeping pace with the latest scientific and technological developments across various disciplines.
The Council further noted that such activities contribute to developing students’ critical thinking and research skills, broadening their professional horizons, and fostering a spirit of innovation and teamwork. This, in turn, enhances graduates’ readiness for the labor market and contributes to building a vibrant university community grounded in knowledge and active engagement.
