Strengthening National Partnerships: Beni Suef University Welcomes a High-Level Delegation from the Military Technical College and the Chemical Warfare Department to Explore Scientific Cooperation

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abo El Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences welcomed a high-level delegation from the Military Technical College and the Chemical Warfare Department to discuss opportunities for scientific and research collaboration and the exchange of expertise.
The delegation included Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Fattah Abdullah Baraka, Major General Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim, Brigadier General Dr. Hesham Ramzy Gad El-Karim Tantawy, Colonel Dr. Osama Ali Ibrahim Abu Zalt, Colonel Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed El-Sayed, and Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Nasr Abdo.
The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Samaa Emam El-Dek, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Hossam Nassar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Mai Raslan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; in addition to department heads, faculty members, and teaching assistants.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the University places great importance on strengthening partnerships with national academic and research institutions to support scientific research and facilitate the exchange of expertise. He noted that cooperation with the Military Technical College and the Chemical Warfare Department represents an important step toward implementing joint research projects and maximizing the use of the scientific capabilities available at both institutions in support of sustainable development goals and Egypt's vision for innovation and scientific research.
Prof. Dr. Samaa Emam El-Dek explained that the visit included a comprehensive presentation of the Faculty's academic and research capabilities, its various academic departments, and its advanced laboratories and research facilities. The delegation also toured the Central Laboratory, the Electron Microscope Unit, the Nanotechnology Laboratory, the Biotechnology Laboratory, the Environmental Sciences and Cement Technology Laboratory, and the Renewable Energy Science and Engineering Laboratory, where members of the delegation were introduced to the Faculty's state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities.
The visit concluded with a discussion session focusing on mechanisms for strengthening scientific and research cooperation, implementing joint research projects, exchanging expertise, and making optimal use of the scientific resources available at both institutions, thereby reinforcing Beni Suef University's role in advancing scientific research, innovation, and sustainable development.
