Beni Suef Faculty of Dental Medicine receives more than 20,000 cases during the year

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the release of the Faculty of Dental Medicine 's annual report on the clinical activity of its departments and clinics from August 2025 to July 2026. The report revealed the significant efforts made to serve the local community and provide advanced healthcare. A total of 20,314 patients received treatment services, while the number of services provided reached 47,708 across various specialties.

The University President explained that the Diagnostic Department recorded the highest patient intake with a total of 21,375 services, followed by the Pediatric Dentistry Department with 2,506 services, and then the Fixed Prosthodontics and Surgery Department. The Radiology Department also witnessed remarkable activity with a total of 4,090 services, reflecting an increased demand for diagnostic examinations related to the Conservative, Endodontic, and Oral Surgery departments. The report also highlighted the high rate of root canal treatment in the Endodontics Department, with 1,210 cases, in addition to the continued activity of the Orthodontics Department, which provided 573 services during the year. Dr. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that these figures reflect the vital role the Faculty plays in serving the local community by providing comprehensive medical services, including fixed and removable prosthetics, minor surgeries, pediatric treatments, and accurate diagnostics using radiology.

The University President expressed his gratitude to the faculty members, physicians, nursing staff, and administrators for their ongoing efforts in supporting the medical process.
