Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, today attended the activities of the Second International Conference of the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, entitled “A Future Vision for Developmental and Sensory Disabilities and Talent Issues in Light of the Digital Age According to Egypt’s Vision 2030,” in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Vice President of Beni Suef National University for Innovation, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Heba Abu El-Nil, Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Conference, and Dr. Ahmed Azazi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research.
Dr. Haitham Nagi, the college’s vice dean for community service, Dr. Mahmoud El-Shahawy, the college’s vice dean for education and students, Dr. Zeinab Madi, head of the Department of Learning Disabilities, Dr. Saeed Hamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Beni Suef, and Mr. Ayman Tantawy, representing the National Council for People with Disabilities, were present, amidst a notable attendance of faculty members and researchers from a number of Egyptian universities.
Dr. Heba Abu El-Neil explained that the conference highlights a number of key themes, most notably therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions in the field of disability, digital education and inclusion for people with special needs, mental health and well-being of people with disabilities and their families, and the diagnosis and rehabilitation of speech disorders and autism spectrum disorder in the digital age.
Dr. Ahmed Azazi expressed his sincere thanks, appreciation, and pride to Dr. Tariq Ali for his wise vision and unlimited support, which had a significant impact on raising the college’s profile and enhancing its academic standing. This support provided a real incentive to achieve excellence and opened new horizons of success and leadership, reflecting his exceptional leadership and his constant commitment to elevating the university and all its colleges to the highest levels of quality and competitiveness.
On the sidelines of the conference opening, the university president inspected the graduation projects of students from the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences. He praised the innovative and creative ideas presented by the students, which aim to integrate and empower people with disabilities into society and facilitate their daily lives using modern technologies. He expressed his pride in the outstanding level and effort exerted by the students and faculty members in bringing these innovative projects to fruition.
