Beni Suef Faculty of Medicine participates in the theatrical performance "Rodent Control" at the Egyptian Opera House

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Medicine participated with the play "Rodent Control" as part of the 8th "Seasons for University Theater Stars" festival. The performance took place at the Cairo Opera House's Center for Artistic Creativity, under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of Student Welfare at the University. The performance was well-attended and praised the students' high level of skill and creative performance.
Dr. Tarek Ali noted that the Beni Suef University administration places great importance on supporting student and artistic activities, emphasizing that art and culture are fundamental pillars in building the university student's character and developing their creative skills. He also expressed his pride in the Faculty of Medicine students' distinguished representation of the university at major cultural events such as the Cairo Opera House.
The university president explained that this performance comes within the framework of fruitful cultural cooperation, expressing his gratitude to Dr. Khaled Galal, Head of the Creativity Center and the Cultural Production Sector at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the Artistic House of Theater, and the Cultural Development Fund, for their generous sponsorship of the festival and for providing a creative platform that nurtures the talents of university students.
For his part, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, praised the great effort exerted by the student team, noting that the academic excellence of medical students goes hand in hand with artistic excellence and creative activities.
Captain Mohamed Farouk also expressed his delight at the professional level demonstrated by the students on stage, commending the role of the Arts Activities Department in monitoring and guiding the team.
It is worth noting that the play "Rodent Control" is based on the text "The Experience of Justice" by writer Ibrahim Al-Husseini, and directed by student Ahmed Mustafa. The outstanding production team included: Ahmed Maher (Team Leader), Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Wahab (Poster and Publicity), Ashraqat Mustafa (Costumes and Accessories), Ahed Amr (Makeup), Ahmed Hassan (Set Design), and Mahmoud Al-Husseini (Lighting).
