A new international achievement for Beni Suef University: A graduate of "Al-Alsun" is among the top 10 foreign students at Sichuan University and a speaker at Peking University.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university has achieved a new international accomplishment, reflecting the excellence of its students on the global stage.
Researcher Mahmoud Hossam Mahmoud Bakr, a graduate of the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of AL-alsun (Class of 2020), was selected as one of the top ten foreign students at the prestigious Sichuan University in the People’s Republic of China, after obtaining a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from the Faculty of Arts and Journalism at the Chinese University, with the follow-up of Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, and Dr. Amira Hegazi, Director of the Graduates Unit at the University, and within the framework of the belief of the Faculty and the University in the necessity of continuous follow-up and permanent support for its graduate students.
The university president pointed out that this unique academic excellence culminated in the selection of researcher Mahmoud Hossam to be an official speaker on behalf of all foreign master's students at the expanded student conference held on Saturday, June 12, 2026, at Peking University, which witnessed broad and distinguished participation from the elite students at all Chinese universities, stressing that this achievement reflects the quality of educational outputs of Beni Suef University and the ability of its graduates to compete internationally with efficiency and merit.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the university administration places the graduates file, developing their skills and linking them to global research institutions at the top of its priorities, praising the fruitful efforts made by the university’s graduates unit in cooperation with the relevant colleges to open up promising horizons for young people, and to provide them with all means of motivation to continue their scientific journey so that they may be an honorable face for Egypt abroad.
For her part, Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of AL-alsun, expressed her immense happiness and pride in this distinguished achievement by one of the faculty's alumni. On her own behalf and on behalf of the faculty's vice deans and teaching staff, she extended her warmest congratulations to researcher Mahmoud Hossam, emphasizing that the language departments within the faculty, particularly the Chinese Language Department, are brimming with promising young talents capable of elevating the name of Beni Suef University to the highest levels in major international universities and scientific forums.
