The Beni Suef University Council honored outstanding students from the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence who received Cisco professional scholarships in Beni Suef. The ceremony, chaired by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, took place during its 258th session. Also in attendance were Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef; Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; deans of faculties; and members of the council.
The University President emphasized that this achievement reflects the university's commitment to enhancing its students' capabilities and providing internationally accredited training opportunities. This aligns with the demands of the global job market and strengthens Egypt's position in the field of information technology. He affirmed the university's aspiration for further constructive cooperation to support the presidential initiative and qualify more students for international certification as certified IT specialists. This will solidify the university's standing as a leading academic institution that keeps pace with the state's aspirations for sustainable development and Egypt's future vision.
The ceremony was held at the university's 258th session. Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty, explained that 46 students successfully obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) license, the exam for which costs approximately seven thousand Egyptian pounds. The university fund provided the license completely free of charge to the university and its students. This marks the university's second success in this field, and the second consecutive year it has achieved this distinction. Last year, the faculty's training academy was selected by the Cabinet as the best center for preparing young people for 21st-century skills.
