The President of Beni Suef University chairs a number of meetings

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired meetings of the Scientific Journals Unit, the University Facilities Committee, the Faculty Development Center, and the Higher Committee for Faculty and Support Staff Affairs. The meetings were attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Maha Ahmed, General Coordinator of the Journals Unit; Dr. Gomaa Saeed, Director of the Faculty Development Center; and members of the boards of directors.
During the Scientific Journals Unit meeting, the formation of the boards of directors and editorial boards for the Journal of Distance and Open Education, the Journal of Research Horizons in Science (both published by Beni Suef University), and the Journal of the Faculty of Languages was approved.
During the Facilities Committee meeting, discussions focused on the construction and expansion of the lecture hall building at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, as well as all matters related to university facilities on the East Nile campus.
The adoption of a training package titled "Guidance Framework for Higher Education" was discussed as part of the faculty promotion courses, in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Council of Universities. Approval was also granted for a course on statistical analysis of theses and scientific research for faculty members and their assistants. This took place during a meeting of the Faculty Development Center.
During a meeting of the Faculty and Supporting Staff Affairs Committee, the mechanisms and criteria for transferring and seconding faculty members from within and outside the university were discussed, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
