The Council of Beni Suef University honors Dr. Mohamed Madi, former Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, honored Dr. Mohamed Madi in its session No. (254) The former Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts was honored in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the university and the community. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, deans of faculties, and members of the university council
The university president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Mohamed Madi for his distinguished scientific and artistic contributions. Dr. Madi is a prominent sculptor and the owner of the university's art studio. He also contributed to the design and execution of several monuments on campus, including the June 30th Monument
The university president noted that Dr. Mohamed Madi has made significant artistic contributions to the governorate, including the creation of a four-and-a-half-meter-tall public statue of Imam al-Busiri, author of the Burda poem, to beautify the train station square in Beni Suef. He also designed a memorial to the martyrs of the White Army (medical personnel). This honor comes as part of the university's appreciation for its scholars and creative minds, and its commitment to highlighting distinguished figures who have contributed to the advancement of academic and artistic work, and to strengthening the university's cultural and aesthetic role in serving the community
