Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired the 254th University Council meeting today, in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the faculties, and members of the council

The University President opened the meeting by congratulating the council members and university staff on the approaching of holy month of Ramadan, praying that God would bring it back to the Muslim nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. He emphasized the importance of this spiritual occasion in strengthening the values ??of cooperation and solidarity among members of the university community, noting that Ramadan represents an opportunity to renew the commitment to continuing the journey of scientific and research contributions

In service to the nation and to elevate the university to the ranks of distinguished academic institutions

During the session, the council honored Dr. Mohamed Madi, former Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the university and the community. The council also honored Dr. Najah Al-Rayes, former Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, for his dedicated service during his tenure, as well as members of the administrative staff who reached retirement age this January
