Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the university's keenness to develop students' awareness and encourage them to read and learn
The university, in cooperation with the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Military Education Department at the university, organized a field visit to the Cairo International Book Fair, in the presence of Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department, and a student delegation from various faculties of the university, in order to increase awareness among students and promote their self-discipline
Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, affirmed that these visits come within the framework of the university's vision aimed at building and developing the university student's personality in an integrated manner, noting that attention to cultural and intellectual activities is a fundamental pillar and complement to the educational process within the classrooms. He explained that the Cairo International Book Fair represents a prominent global cultural event that allows students to view the latest global and regional publications in various scientific, literary and cultural fields, which contributes to developing critical thinking, raising cognitive awareness and preparing students to interact positively with all changes
The university president added that it is important for the various colleges and scientific units of the university to participate in the exhibition activities and to learn about the latest specialized publications in various disciplines, which contributes to raising the scientific and academic content and enhances the university’s ability to keep pace with scientific and cultural development at the regional and international levels
