Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired a meeting of the Higher Committee of the Anti-Violence Unit to discuss several topics related to the unit's plans and activities for the coming period. This initiative aims to support a safe and violence-free university environment and underscores the university's and the Anti-Violence Unit's commitment to adopting effective policies and programs to promote a culture of non-violence and foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all members of the university community. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University; Dr. Ghada Atef, Director of the Anti-Violence Unit; and members of the committee.

During the meeting, a proposal to prepare an ethical charter for university conduct and to combat violence was discussed, which would promote the values ??of respect and discipline within the university community.

As part of its concern for students, the council approved the organization of a life skills workshop for university students at the beginning of the second semester, addressing topics such as anger management and developing communication skills, which contributes to enhancing the psychological and social health of students.

The council also approved a proposal to train faculty and staff on safe and professional methods of dealing with students, especially in situations that require containment and support, in order to support efforts to prevent violence on campus.
