Beni Suef University Announces the Qualification of the Choir Team for the Finals of the “Ibda’a 14” Festival in Group and Solo Singing

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the qualification of the University Choir Team for the final rounds of the “Ibda’a 14” Festival for University Youth in the categories of group and solo singing. The festival is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports. The participation is supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and followed up by the Artistic Activity Administration.
Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, stated that the Choir Team’s advancement to the final competitions reflects the artistic excellence of the university’s students, emphasizing that the festival represents a vital platform for highlighting young talents and enhancing their national and cultural awareness. He pointed out that the university team, led by Maestro and artist Ahmed Mostafa Galal, includes 16 male and female students from various faculties of the university, who succeeded in securing a place among the best teams representing only six universities nationwide. He wished them success in the final judging stage scheduled to be held in February 2026.
For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohamed expressed his happiness with this honorable achievement, noting that the university places great importance on the arts and music sector. He explained that the students underwent intensive training and rigorous evaluations that qualified them to compete strongly for top positions in this major national event, praising the efforts exerted by the maestro and the students to reach such a distinguished artistic level.
In the same context, Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, affirmed that the administration provides all the necessary facilities and support for the Choir Team. He also commended the role of the Artistic Activity Administration in closely following up on the training sessions and preparing the team in a manner befitting the name of Beni Suef University, to ensure achieving advanced positions and winning festival awards in its final stage in Alexandria.
