He added that the unit constitutes a qualitative shift in the university’s path toward positive engagement with the local community, as it aims to launch innovative initiatives that align with the needs of students and faculty members, support the implementation of presidential initiatives through coordination with the relevant authorities, enhance institutional performance efficiency, and foster a culture of initiative and leadership among university youth, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for building and empowering the Egyptian citizen. He added that the unit seeks to become a central platform for coordinating and implementing initiatives that enhance community awareness and support sustainable development efforts.
Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud indicated that the second session of the inauguration includes the launch of the “Our University without Drugs” initiative. This contributes to raising their national awareness, developing their leadership skills, and enhancing their sense of responsibility and belonging, preparing them to become leaders within their communities.
