In the context of strengthening international relations… A delegation from Beni-Suef University participates in the celebration of Oman's National Day

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, a delegation of professors from the university participated in the celebration organized by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo on the occasion of the Omani National Day. The participation came upon a kind invitation from Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt, as part of efforts to strengthen cultural and educational relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman.

The delegation included:
Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sayed, former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, official spokesperson and Media Advisor of the University; Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication; Dr. Noha El-Abd, Professor at the Faculty of Mass Communication; Dr. Nagah El-Reis, Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics;Dr. Hesham Basheer, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics for Postgraduate Studies;Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Dr. El-Sheimaa Abdel-Salam, Lecturer at the Faculty of Politics and Economics.

The celebration witnessed high-level attendance, including the participation of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, representing the Prime Minister, along with a distinguished group of public figures, intellectuals, artists, and political leaders, reflecting the depth of Egyptian–Omani relations and the mutual appreciation for cultural and scientific cooperation.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, affirmed:
 “The university’s participation in this national occasion reflects our commitment to strengthening cultural and educational ties with our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman, especially with the presence of a number of Omani students studying at Beni-Suef University. This opens new horizons for scientific and research cooperation between the two sides.”

Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sayed, the University’s Media Advisor, added:
 “Beni-Suef University’s participation in this national celebration demonstrates our keenness to enhance academic and cultural relations with our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman and to open new avenues for scientific and research cooperation that serve both parties.”
