Distinguished Participation of Beni-Suef University in the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, announced that the university made a distinguished contribution to the activities of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival, organized by the Beni-Suef Governorate under the patronage of Prime Minister Eng. Mostafa Madbouly.
The University President explained that the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research participated in the festival with a special pavilion showcasing a number of pioneering research projects conducted by the institute’s researchers. These projects aim to develop and expand the use of medicinal plants in various fields. The pavilion also featured samples of the institute’s research products, including natural cosmetic preparations derived from plants, as well as displays of greenhouse outputs affiliated with the institute, reflecting the university’s efforts to promote sustainable agriculture and applied scientific research. The Faculties of Pharmacy and Agriculture also took part in the event.
He added that the university’s scout team participated with a diverse artistic exhibition that included paintings, expressive posters, and handicrafts reflecting the creativity and talent of Beni-Suef University students. This participation underscores the university’s commitment to integrating scientific research with art and culture, and to enhancing its role in community service while developing students’ skills across various fields.
