Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University,mourns  with deep sorrow and grief, Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem, a member of the Senior Scholars Authority and former President of Al-Azhar University and a member of the Board of Trustees of Benha National University, who passed away today.

Asking Almighty God to grant the deceased a wide mercy and to dwell in his spacious paradise, and to inspire his family, loved ones and students with patience and solace.
