Beni Suef University celebrates Pink October to raise awareness of breast cancer as part of the Presidential Initiative for Women's Health.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, and within the framework of the presidential initiative for women's health, The Oncology Department of the Faculty of Medicine at the university organized an awareness ceremony on the occasion of the pink October for breast cancer awareness, under the supervision of Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of Beni-Suef University Hospitals.

This event comes as part of the university's keenness to spread health awareness among women and support national initiatives aimed at preserving the health of Egyptian women.

The events included a lecture by Dr. Inas Mohsen, Head of the Oncology Department, on the medical and therapeutic services provided by the department to cancer patients. Additionally, awareness lectures were given by several university professors on prevention methods, early detection, and the importance of regular screening in improving recovery rates.

The ceremony also honored several doctors, pharmacists, nursing staff, and workers in the Oncology Department in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in serving patients. Symbolic gifts were presented to some patients who had recovered, in a humane atmosphere that emphasized the importance of psychological and moral support during the treatment journey.
