Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the flag-raising ceremony, as part of the celebration of welcoming the new academic year 2025-2026, which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Care and Students for Egypt, in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service Sector, Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Sector, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Coordinator of Students for Egypt, and Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the Youth Care Administration, amid a large attendance of deans of faculties, faculty members, and students.


For his part, the university president congratulated the students, faculty members, and administrative staff on the new academic year, expressing his pride and appreciation for this moment, which embodies the spirit of national belonging and reflects the university's commitment to the values ??of citizenship and responsibility. He emphasized that the beginning of the academic year represents a new opportunity for excellence and creativity, calling on everyone to work as a team to achieve academic and research goals within the framework of the university's strategic plan.

The university president explained that the flag salute carries within it many patriotic meanings. It is an expression of belonging to the homeland and an inculcation of the values ??of loyalty and discipline in the souls of students, as everyone - professors, students, and the administrative staff - unites under one banner, which enhances the spirit of community and makes students feel they are part of an educational and national system. Furthermore, it sends a powerful message that flag and homeland go hand in hand, and that building the future begins with respecting and appreciating national symbols.

Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud emphasized the university's commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that combines academic excellence with student activities as an integral part of the educational process. These activities contribute to character building, honing students' leadership skills, and developing their personalities through a comprehensive plan that includes organizing diverse cultural events, such as literary competitions and intellectual seminars, which enhance awareness and knowledge.

Captain Mohamed Farouk added that the plan includes internal and external sports tournaments aimed at fostering a spirit of competition and belonging, as well as art exhibitions and theatrical and musical performances that showcase student creativity. The plan also includes organizing research forums, innovation project exhibitions, and training courses. These activities are part of the university's vision to build an informed, creative generation that actively participates in community development.

It's worth noting that the celebration was filled with joy, happiness, and interaction. Activities included a variety of sports and artistic activities, as well as introductory tours of the campus. These activities helped integrate new students and familiarize them with the university's facilities and services.
