President of Beni-Suef University Honors Dr. Waleed El-Roubi, Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Sciences, for His Efforts as Coordinator of the Cooperation Agreement with Paris-Saclay University

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, honored today Dr. Waleed El-Roubi, Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Sciences, for his efforts as coordinator of the cooperation agreement with Paris-Saclay University, ranked the top French university within the European Union under the Erasmus+ program for student and faculty exchanges. In recognition of his outstanding contributions and achievements in scientific research, Dr. El-Roubi was presented with the university shield. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Islam Sayed, Dean of the School, and Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Assistant Professor at the School.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that this agreement aligns with the university’s strategy to strengthen international partnerships with prestigious universities worldwide, providing students with opportunities to gain experience, exchange cultures, and foster joint scientific research—positively impacting the quality of research at Beni-Suef University. He added that the university is also seeking to establish joint academic programs with Paris-Saclay University.
The University President further noted that the agreement offers 22 exchange opportunities for students and faculty over three years, until 2027. It represents a continuation of the fruitful cooperation that began in 2017 between Beni-Suef University and Paris-Saclay, through which more than 20 faculty members and postgraduate students from Beni-Suef University have already benefited. The initiative enhances the university’s academic standing and builds productive partnerships that serve the academic and research community in Egypt.
