Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the graduation ceremony of the 23rd batch of the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Khaled El-Hadidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of University Hospitals and Head of the Beni Suef Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Sherine Ghaleb, Head of the Cairo Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, former Vice President of the University, Dr. El-Morsi Ahmed, former Vice President of the University, Dr. Samah Gad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, former deans, college vice deans, heads of departments, students and parents.
The University President began his speech by extending his congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, congratulating his students and their parents, appreciating the efforts they have made with their children. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Dean of the College and the faculty members for the scientific and practical experience they have provided to the graduates, and also to the staff of the College of Medicine and the University Hospital. He expressed his happiness to participate in the graduation ceremony of his students who have devoted their efforts throughout the academic year to studying and acquiring knowledge. He expressed his pride and appreciation for their efforts, stressing the need to adhere to professional ethics and continue working and studying to advance scientific research in the medical field so that they can be ambassadors for the College and the University in various forums and circles. He also stressed that the University spares no effort in providing all necessary support to students in completing their postgraduate studies.
He added that the Faculty of Medicine is at the forefront of medical faculties due to its scientific and research role and its significant role in enhancing the university's role in serving the community. He also noted that Beni Suef University is one of the universities with a distinguished and integrated medical sector with its multiple faculties, which contributes to achieving the university's mission in this important field. He also called on the Syndicate to provide more social facilities for doctors, especially new doctors.
Dr. Imad Al-Banna emphasized the importance of the medical profession, in which doctors deal with the individual human being, and that God has greatly rewarded those who practice it. Dr. Khaled Al-Hadidi explained that the University’s Faculty of Medicine possesses a group of distinguished medical personnel at the local and international levels.
It is worth noting that a minute of silence was observed for the soul of  Dr. Mai Hassan Bakri.
The event concluded with a ceremony honoring the batch by the university president, the dean of the college, the director of university hospitals, the heads of the doctors' syndicates in Cairo and Beni Suef, and a number of leaders and faculty members at the college.
