Beni Suef University Council Approves a Series of Awareness Seminars and Workshops Across University Faculties

In its 245th session, the Beni Suef University Council, chaired by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved the implementation of various awareness seminars and workshops in several faculties. The session was attended by Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with faculty deans and council members.

Dr. Hassan highlighted the importance of these activities in enhancing students' skills and raising their awareness. He stressed that such seminars reflect the university’s commitment to fostering a comprehensive educational environment that prepares students to meet real-world challenges, respond to labor market demands, and embrace values of cooperation and community engagement.

Among the scheduled events are a seminar on bullying awareness at the Faculties of Nursing and Early Childhood Education, a seminar on “Sports Commentary Skills” at the Faculty of Physical Education, and another on “Artificial Intelligence and Research Ethics” at the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research.

The council also approved the organization of several workshops, including sessions at the Faculty of Pharmacy on chromatographic separation equipment, and at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on managing stray dogs, in collaboration with the Veterinary Directorate, the veterinary syndicate, the Animal Health Research Institute, and an animal welfare association. Additional workshops will be held at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences and the Faculty of Dentistry.
