The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, concluded the activities of its ninth scientific conference, "Developing and Enhancing Livestock Wealth: Strategies for Achieving Egypt's Vision 2030." This was held under the supervision of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Khaled Abbas Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Dr. Magdy El-Qady, Honorary President of the Conference, Dr. Khaled El-Nasr, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Narmin Atef El-Shemy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Arafa Mashraf, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Shawky Soliman, Former Vice President of the University, Dr. Hassan Abdel-Hafiz, Former Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and a group of professors, faculty members, assistant staff, and students.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the conference sessions included scientific lectures and discussion panels on the challenges facing the veterinary profession in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a series of presentations on the research participating in the conference from inside and outside Egypt, a workshop for the Department of Poultry Diseases, and a field visit for students to the Military Veterinary Hospital in Nasr City, in cooperation with the University's Popular Defense Administration.
Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean of the College, thanked Dr. Mansour for his continuous support of the conference's events and activities. He emphasized that the conference program was rich with activities that contributed to achieving its goals, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of everyone who contributed to the conference's success and its distinguished appearance.
At the conclusion of the conference, the college’s vices dean and the conference organizing committee were honored.
